Mariella Cialdini was born in Basilicata in the South of Italy. She holds a Laurea Vecchio Ordinamento in Lingue e Letterature Straniere Moderne (Master's in Foreign Language and Literature —Spanish) from the Universitá di Bologna, the oldest University in Europe. Mariella is the Italian translator for Lions Clubs International responsible for the translation of all club communications. She also works as the official interpreter at Lions board meetings. She has published translations for Nike, Champion, and Lee Jeans. In addition to larger commercial projects, Mariella also works on academic translations and collaborations with Italy's publishing houses.

Nicholas Cialdini was born in Wisconsin. He attended Marquette University (B.A. Philosophy) and studied comedy writing at the Second City. As a creative director and strategist, he is responsible for the development of ideas that impact people in meaningful ways. He recently completed his second screenplay, "Balbo" and is working on an undisclosed writing project at his office in Chicago. Nicholas has written for Nike, Samsung, Lee, Blue Shield, Sharp, The North Face, Brooks Brothers and many, many others.
